Your recruiter is your career advocate…. Here are some tips that may be helpful in creating a meaningful partnership with your recruiter:

- ## Build a professional relationship
  
  Treat recruiters as your colleague and build a relationship with them. This can help in establishing trust and making them more invested in your job search.
- ## Be clear about your job preferences
  
  Tell recruiters what kind of job and company you are looking for, and what your salary expectations are. This can help them match you with suitable job openings and avoid wasting time on irrelevant ones.
- ## Be responsive and proactive
  
  Respond to recruiters in a timely manner and keep them updated on your job status. Also, reach out to them between job opportunities to stay top of mind.
- ## Follow through with commitments
  
  If you agree to a job interview or provide them with your resume, follow through with those commitments in a timely manner.
- ## Ask for feedback
